The Champions dinner, held on the Tuesday of Masters week at Augusta National Golf Club, is making some changes for next year’s event.
According to well-known anonymous sources — EXCLUSIVE to Golf Lampoon — the Club’s dining room is no longer large enough to accommodate all of the Masters’ past champions. So in 2027, a “Teen Table” will be set up next to the existing dining room table.
Three Champions under the age of 40 will be seated there. The fourth spot will be held open for Phil Mickelson for his lifetime should he decide not to eat by himself in the club’s wine cellar.
