Tiger Woods is being sued by Puma, Tigeraire, and a little girl from India because they claim that his (?) company — Sun Day Red — “hijacked” their respective logos.
Golf Lampoon has learned — EXCLUSIVELY — that there’s a new plaintiff that wants to sue Tiger: Bonefish Grill. The seafood restaurant’s legal firm, Whitefish, Herring, Haddock & Partners, claims that “the Sun Day Red logo is wholly derivative of our client’s registered trademark and impinges on its fiduciary responsibilities to conduct business in the United States of America and Guam.
“Acting as its legal counsel, this firm has sent Sun Day Red numerous cease-and-desist notices, all of which, to date, have been ignored. Thus, we have no choice but to commence litigation to recoup financial losses to our client’s corporation and franchisees in the amount of $873 million. $10 million of this sum will be used to purchase tartar sauce and oysterettes to be distributed to food banks throughout the country. In addition, one of our senior partners, James Haddock IV, respectfully requests that Mr. Woods provide an autographed photo of his person to be made out to his granddaughter, Minnow.”
